SyncNote
SyncNote is a private, local-first note-taking app for writing, organizing, syncing, and backing up notes across your devices.
SyncNote helps users create notes, organize them with folders and tags, pair devices for note sync, and optionally enable encrypted cloud backup. SyncNote does not show ads, does not track users, and does not sell user data.
Why SyncNote uses Google Sign-In
Google Sign-In is optional. SyncNote uses it only to authenticate encrypted cloud backup. When backup is enabled, notes are encrypted on the user's device before upload. SyncNote uses Google Drive's hidden app-data folder only to store the user's backup encryption key and does not read or modify other Drive files.
What users can do with SyncNote
- Write and edit notes on their device.
- Organize notes with folders, tags, pinned notes, and search.
- Pair trusted devices to sync selected notes.
- Enable optional encrypted cloud backup with Google Sign-In.
- Keep vault notes local-only and protected.
Data and privacy summary
Notes are stored locally by default. Cloud backup and device sync are optional. Vault notes stay local-only. SyncNote does not use analytics, advertising identifiers, location tracking, contacts, or third-party ad SDKs.
