These Terms of Service apply to SyncNote, a private, local-first note-taking app for writing, organizing, syncing, and backing up notes across your devices.
You may use SyncNote to create, edit, organize, store, back up, and sync your own notes. You are responsible for the content you create and for complying with applicable laws.
Notes are stored locally by default. Cloud backup and device sync are optional. If you enable cloud backup, SyncNote encrypts your notes before upload. If you pair devices, notes you choose to share may sync through Firebase services.
Vault notes are intended for sensitive content and are stored locally. If you forget your vault passcode or lose access to the device, vault notes may not be recoverable.
Google Sign-In is optional and is used only for encrypted cloud backup. SyncNote does not use Google Sign-In for advertising, analytics, or selling user data.
SyncNote is provided as-is. Local note editing can work offline, but optional cloud backup, device sync, and public links depend on internet access and third-party services such as Firebase and Google Sign-In.
SyncNote is provided without warranties of any kind. We do our best to protect your data, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or recovery of data deleted by the user.
We may update these terms when SyncNote changes. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version.
If you have questions about these terms, contact the SyncNote support email listed on the OAuth consent screen or through the app's support channel.
